A Morning At Artz Graine

We are in the thick of the school holidays and it is the perfect time to engage the boys in new activities or experiences. There are a few go-to camps they are enrolled in for the year-end holidays, but i will leave time for trying out new programs as well. So when the team at Artz Graine invited us to join one of their workshops, I was eager and thankful.

I was drawn to their workshops for 3-4 year olds because No. 2 loves art and craft. They run for only an hour long which was a suitable length of time for restless, little ones. We decided to try their series of new programs that provided an integrated art experience that combined Science, Technology/ Tools, Engineering, Mathematics and Art - S.T.E.A.M.

The class size was small and cosy which made it easy for No. 2 to listen and engage. They were given the chance to explore and figure things out on their own; encouraging independence. Through the process of making art, crafting, the children learnt to develop their fine motor skills. No. 2 was able to keep up and I could tell he was enjoying himself.

When the class ended and we were heading off, he told me: “Mommy, I want to come here every week!” You know a child enjoyed himself when he wants to return.
